Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix: Your Ultimate Guide (Updated)

In my previous article on Formula 1, I covered everything you need to know about the race in Las Vegas. Since then, I couldn’t help but stay glued to the news and preparations for this highly anticipated event. Now, 1 week before the race, I’ve decided to compile the latest news into an updated article.

Even though I’m currently thousands of miles away from the heart of the action, my excitement for this race knows no bounds. If you’re still contemplating whether to purchase tickets, continue reading, and by the end of this article, you’ll be ready to make an informed decision.

The Formula 1 party already started!!!

The whole month of November is dedicated to Formula 1 celebrations. The party kicked off on November 5th with a 12-hour festival on the Strip right in front of Caesars Palace. Access was free, and the first 500 fans aged 21 and over were given one complimentary ticket to a VIP celebration taking place that night. The festival featured a myriad of interactive activities, a live race demonstration, esports racing simulators, introductions of drivers and teams, a captivating F1-themed animated drone display, and a spectacular fireworks show above Caesars Palace. The VIP event at Caesars Palace served as the pinnacle of the celebration.

Formula 1 tickets are on sale!

Do you remember the ticket prices from one month ago when I shared them with you in the previous article? Believe it or not – tickets for the Las Vegas Grand Prix are now on sale! General admission tickets start at $300, granting access to grandstands and various viewing areas around the circuit. On the other hand, Paddock Club hospitality packages can cost upwards of $10,000. These packages include premium amenities such as catered food and beverages, private bars, and opportunities to meet the drivers.

P.S. Be cautious, as there are scams associated with the sale of Formula 1 tickets. Ensure you purchase tickets from a reputable source; here you can check some trusted sources.

Tips for Finding Last-Minute Accommodations in Las Vegas

  • Check online booking platforms. Regularly check online booking platforms like Expedia, Kayak, and Booking.com for last-minute cancellations or special deals that may pop up.
  • Contact hotels directly: Contact hotels directly to inquire about any last-minute availability or special rates they may be offering.
  • Consider staying outside the city center. Explore hotels in nearby cities like Henderson and North Las Vegas. These are typically more affordable and may have better availability.
  • Utilize social media. Check social media groups and forums dedicated to Formula 1 Las Vegas for potential sublets or room-sharing opportunities.
  • Be prepared for higher prices. Due to the high demand and limited availability, you should expect to pay higher prices than usual for accommodations during the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
  • Act quickly. If you find a suitable accommodation option, act quickly to secure it, as rooms are likely to be booked up quickly.

With just one week to go until the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, hotel availability is limited, especially for the most popular hotels along the Las Vegas Strip. However, there are still some rooms available at select hotels, particularly those located farther from the Strip or in nearby cities like Henderson and North Las Vegas.

On the other side, Airbnb and VRBO rentals offer a more flexible and often more affordable alternative to hotels. While prices have also increased for these rentals, there are still options available, especially for apartments, condos, and private rooms located outside of the immediate Strip area.
